MoonSwatch Sailcloth Deployant Strap — FKM Rubber

The most popular MoonSwatch strap we sell — and it's not close. The sailcloth-effect FKM rubber with deployant clasp has become the default upgrade for serious MoonSwatch collectors. The textured finish gives the visual depth of woven sailcloth with the water resistance, flexibility, and longevity of military-grade FKM rubber. The brushed stainless steel deployant clasp clicks shut in one motion — no daily buckle threading — and distributes pressure evenly across the wrist.

This is the universal black colourway. It works with every MoonSwatch model, but we also make mission-specific versions colour-matched to individual watches. If you know which model you own, choose your colour below.

Why FKM rubber?

FKM (fluoroelastomer) is a medical and aerospace-grade rubber. Compared to standard silicone, it resists UV degradation, doesn't harden over time, handles chemicals and sweat without discolouring, and stays soft in both heat and cold. It's the same material used by premium strap makers charging £150+. We use it across our entire sailcloth range at a fraction of the price.
